Dr. Bob Jones is CEO Emeritus at Children's Aid and Family Services in Paramus, NJ, where he served as its president and CEO for three decades, retiring in February 2015. Dr. Jones now maintains a consulting and training practice that provides individualized consulting, coaching and training services to nonprofit organizations. Areas of expertise include board development, fund development and planning, strategic planning, executive/management coaching, and creating an organizational culture of philanthropy.
Dr. Jones is an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business and a faculty member for the Executive Leadership Institute of the University of Michigan and the national Alliance for Children and Families, lecturing on philanthropy and board development.
Dr. Jones earned his PhD in Social Policy and Administration from Rutgers University, a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work, and a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Rutgers College. His post-graduate training includes certificates from the Executive Management and Leadership Program at Harvard University’s JFK School of Government, the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School, and the New Jersey Institute for Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy.
