Dom Betro is President and CEO of Family Service Association of Western Riverside County, where he has guided it through 35-fold growth since assuming direction of the agency in 1985. Betro earned a B.S. in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in New York and a certificate in Non Profit Management from the Columbia University Non Profit Institute.
An adjunct instructor in the Master of Nonprofit Administration program at Notre Dame, Betro is also a lecturer at California State University San Marcos in the Department of Human Development and Social Work, an adjunct faculty member at California State University, San Bernardino, where he teaches in the Graduate School of Social Services, an instructor of management at the University of California, Riverside, and an adjunct instructor at Lasierra University, where he teaches Social Entrepreneurship in the School of Business.
Betro has trained more than 200 international managers, provided consultation/training for more than 300 nonprofit organizations, and been the recipient of numerous awards in entrepreneurship, instruction and more. He has volunteered extensively in community and public affairs and been a member and/or representative of more than two dozen such organizations
