John Tropman is a professor of social work at the University of Michigan. His research interests include focusing on the organizational elements that create high-performing human service and organizations. Topics of special interest include entrepreneurship, effective group decision making, the person of the executive, executive burnout and rewards systems.
Dr. Tropman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Oberlin College, a Master’s degree in Social Work and Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and a PhD in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Tropman is a published author and his works include a co-authored book, Nonprofit Governance, which was published by Corby Publishing, LLC.
